Nana Ama is the head of our Credit and Debt Recovery Practice Team; having been called to the Bar of England and Wales, and the Ghana Bar, she joined the firm in 2009.
With over ten years experience in credit related issues, Nana Ama has advised many clients on financial and commercial transactions. She specialises in Debt Recovery Litigation and Debt Restructing with expertise in Legal Auditing, Securitization, Debt Management, Asset Recovery and Corporate Restructuring.
With her team, Nana Ama recently handled the due diligence during the merger of two major financial institutions in Ghana, and has successfully recovered huge debt portfolios for various distinguished banks and companies. She has over the years represented most of the notable financial institutions in Ghana.
Nana Ama has been known to adopt the common-sense approach in undertaking legal issues and represents clients in exploring other modes of resolving financial disputes through Arbitration, Mediation and other Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms, both domestic and international
During her leisure time, Nana Ama enjoys swimming and mentoring.
