JUSTICE KUSI-Minkah PREMO has LLM from the University of Ghana and was called to the Ghana Bar in April 1984.
He is the founder of the firm and a director on many boards, both private and public.
He has served as the VICE PRESIDENT of the Ashanti Regional Branch of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) and also the VICE PRESIDENT of the GBA at the national level. He has served on various committees of the GBA and continues to provide such advisory roles as and when called upon.
He lectures at the Law Institute, the firm’s training arm, and was a Senior Lecturer of the Ghana School of Law in Company Law and Practice.
Local and International Clients from various industries have consulted JUSTICE KUSI-Minkah PREMO. Clients from Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), through Finance Houses to Oil and Gas have consulted Mr. Kusi-Minkah Premo. He has been involved in “Consulting for Sustenance” for companies in distress and has acted as lead advisor in corporate change for companies.
He has been involved in activities arising from international projects, like FINSAP, Divestiture under SAP and the Millennium Challenge Account. He has consulted for the World Bank Group, Foreign Governments and State Institutions. He has been involved in Compact 1 and currently involved in Compact 2 of the Millennium Challenge Account.
In Compact 1, Mr Premo acted as external Counsel for MiDA and was involved in the transactional aspects of MiDA’ work in crafting and reviewing various contracts. He provided Compliance services for beneficiaries under the aegis of MiDA in Compact 1. Mr. Premo provided Dispute Resolution Services for MiDA in court and out of court.
In Compact 2, Mr. Premo represents and consult for the Meralco consortium of foreign and local companies selected as the preferred bidders by MiDA
As an avid litigator, Mr. Premo is an asset in risk management and very involved in transactional legal services.
